Amersham House, The entrance to Amersham House is off the private car park, not from the Tesco car park. By Car From The M25 Leave the
M25 at Junction 20. Follow signs to A41, direction Aylesbury. At the 3rd junction, take the exit marked A416 Chesham. At the first roundabout turn left to follow the A416 to Berkhamsted. At the next roundabout, turn left still following the A416. Follow this road past the cemetery, round a sharp right hand bend, down the hill into Berkhamsted town centre. At the traffic lights, turn right into the High Street. Take the first left (after two speed bumps) down a small lane (Aitchisons and Tesco on corner) which runs down the side of Tesco. Follow the straight road through the car park. Just as you leave the car park, there is a turning to the left marked 'Private Car Park'. This is the entrance to Amersham House. Please arrange parking in advance, as we are limited to 15 spaces in the car park. By Car From The M1 Leave the M1
at Junction 8. Follow signs to Hemel Hempstead town centre - straight across 4
roundabouts until you come to the 'magic roundabout' at the bottom of the hill
- right hand lane. Take the third exit (Kodak tower on your right) marked Station and Boxmoor. Follow the road past the church to the next roundabout. At the roundabout, turn right and follow the road past the railway station. Go straight across the roundabout outside the station, under the railway bridges to the traffic lights with the Swan pub on the corner. Go straight across both sets of traffic lights. Keep following the road towards Berkhamsted - at the next roundabout, turn right over the dual carriageway and at the next roundabout, turn left past the petrol station. Follow the road through Bourne End into Berkhamsted (large Esso petrol station on your right). As you enter the town centre along the High Street, there is a 20 mph limit and traffic calming. Go past the church on your
right. Just after the pedestrian crossing turn right down a small lane which
runs down the side of Tesco(Aitchisons on the corner).Follow the road through the car park. Just as you leave the car park, there is a turning to the left marked 'Private Car Park'. This is the entrance to Amersham House. Please arrange parking in advance, as we are limited to 15 spaces in the car park. ParkingIf the car park at Amersham House is full, there is Pay and Display parking available in the Tesco car park on the other side of Amersham House. This is limited to 4 hours maximum stay.Alternatively, there is unlimited parking in the station car park. You will need £3.50 in change to operate the barrier to the car park. Allow 10 minutes to walk from the station car park to Amersham House. To get to the station by car from Amersham House: Leave the car park and turn left down Mill Street. Follow this road to the T junction and turn left over the canal bridge. Turn left almost immediately at the next T junction. You will see the station on your right - Turn right just before the station under a bridge. Turn immediately left to go up the ramp at the back of the station into the car park. Follow directions (above) on how to get to tif. on foot from the station. By RailBerkhamsted Railway Station is a five minute walk away from tif. This is a Silverlink County station situated on the main line link between London Euston and Birmingham.For Silverlink Train Timetable see below: London Euston - Northampton - Birmingham Timetable. To get to tif. on foot from the Station: From the car park there is a ramp leading onto Platform 4 turn left onto the platform. From the platform, go down the steps and
turn right to go through the ticket hall and come out at the front of the
station. Turn left and take the first road on the right (Castle Street) over the canal bridge. Turn immediately right along Mill Street follow this road right to the end - Amersham House is the two storey 'L' shaped building at the end of Mill Street. You will see the main door in the top left corner of the car park. |
