The Corporate IT Forum comprises of IT functions representing around 150 organisations, with an annual turnover in excess of £4.6 billion. The wealth of experience within the senior management of these organisations shapes the future corporate IT across the globe. The Forum captures their strategic thinking through a series of activities and makes it available to the membership.

During the course of a year, the Forum engages in a number of high level activities including:

The Chairman's Debate: An annual event, usually in the form of a dinner debate, hosted by The Forum's current chairman, Ian Campbell. There are few occasions in the Corporate IT calendar that can boast more CIOs gathered in one place to debate the current hot topics on the CIO agenda.

CIO Forums:These high level forums enable senior IT professionals to discuss high level strategic thinking in a trusted and confidential environment. The output is recorded and transcribed into an anonymised report that is available to Forum members. These discussions help to set the strategic agenda for many organisations.

Advisory Boards: The Forum is run for the benefit of member organisations who set the agenda for all Forum activities. The Advisory Boards are comprised of senior representatives of member organisations who meet regularly to discuss the strategic and tactical direction of the Forum. This ensures that Forum activities are constanly in-sync with issues that are currently important to the membership.
