Ian Campbell

Ian Campbell

As Chairman of The Corporate IT Forum, Ian represents IT professionals working in over 150 large blue-chip organisations across the world. The Forum’s aim is to facilitate the sharing of best practice and IT expertise between its corporate members and to represent their interests to the supplier community and to Government. Collectively, the Forum’s members spend in excess of £35bn on IT each year.

In Ian has vast experience at a senior level in IT currently with Cambridge Assessment after a brief spell at Royal Mail. Formerly he held the Group CIO position at British Energy, where he led a major, two-year business change management programme to improve operational efficiencies and align the IT function with business. Prior to this, Ian was on the Board of Energis (now Cable and Wireless) as Group CIO where he drove business growth of internet services and telecoms. Before Energis, Ian worked for Citibank (within Citigroup) developing financial services products for the global corporate and retail market. He has also worked as a management consultant for PA Consulting and is a graduate of the London School of Economics.

Mark Fabes 

Mark Fabes

Mark has over 25 years experience within the IT industry. In his current role as Business Support Systems Director for Whitbread plc, which include such brands as Premier Inn and Costa Coffee, he is responsible for the development and delivery of all Infrastructure services and all back office systems covering HR, Payroll, Supply Chain and Finance. Previous to his role at Whitbread, Mark was IT Director for Allders Department Stores.  

 

Andrew Willicott

Andrew is Head of IS for South West Water and is responsible for all aspects of IT development, delivery & support within the company. In addition he leads a number of company wide business change programmes responsible for delivering significant service and efficiency benefits. Andrew is also a member of the Forum Operations Group.

Ian Shaw

Chief Insurance Systems Officer, BUPA. Ian has worked in IT for 26 years. He has experience in IT development and Operations and is currently in Relationship Management as Chief Insurance Systems Officer at Bupa. Ian has been a Forum Board Member for 5 years.

Jos CreeseJos Creese

Jos is the Head of IT for Hampshire County Council, running their IT group, supporting business change programmes and delivering services to many other public services organisations on a business basis. With over 20 years IT management experience, Jos is also vice president of the Society of IT Management, chairs the Insight research programme board, chairs the Local Government CIO Council and is on the National Government CIO Council representing local government.

 

Mark Laws

Programme Director at GlaxoSmithKline responsible for the development and execution of strategic plans that enables the GSK's markets that fall outside the UK and North America geographic locations to successfully move away from a Lotus Notes mail and collaboration service to a Microsoft service.
Previously responsible for the full ITIL Service Management of 250 applications that supported GSK's mission critical financial business processes from the generation of End of Year financial reports, to daily treasury transactions of £350m, to payment of over 600,000 invoices annually to GSK's UK suppliers, to ensuring Sarbanes Oxley compliance..

Frank CordreyFrank Cordrey

Head of Development Support and Network Infrastructure at John Lewis Partnership and tif. Vice-Chairman from early 2007

Has worked in the IT group within John Lewis for over 30 years, initially in infrastructure development and support functions and, since the early 1990s managed the Technical Services teams moving to become responsible for shared IT services teams (including Security, Procurement and Project Office) and the Network development and implementation groups in 2001.

Member of the tif. management boards since 1999 and has chaired the tif. Operational and/or Services boards through most of that time. Member of the judging panel for the tif. awards in 2003 & 2004.

Dave is an I.T. professional with 30 years experience in I.T. He has worked for Britannia Building Society now Co-Operative Financial Services for the majority of his career. During which time he has had senior management roles in I.T. Development, Project Management, Change Management and most recently I.S. Operations.
David PirieDavid Pirie

David started his career in operational logistics roles, before taking up project & programme management positions which progressed him into IT leadership. He has held CIO level responsibilities in consumer goods, construction & utilities businesses delivering change in performance & capability of the function. David has recently taken up the position of Group IT Director with British Car Auctions, Europe’s number one vehicle remarketing business.

 

Neil Jarvis

Neil Jarvis is the Head of IT Security, IT Risk and Business Continuity for DHL Logistics EMEA.

With over 14 years experience in both commercial and government information systems security and a proven track record in the specification, design and implementation of complex IT and security infrastructure solutions to meet business requirements.

Neil’s experience includes network infrastructure, server infrastructure, operating systems security, application security, information security, penetration testing, disaster recovery, business continuity, business requirements gathering, analysis, interpretation and delivery of pragmatic cost effective solutions.

Jane Seeley

DHL Logistics Strategy & Planning Director. Jane’s career has spanned over 20years working in IT with exposure to a number of technical refreshes, and has an overall understanding of the IT lifecycle from strategic alignment, concept design, product and knowledge management, application and operational management. Jane is a Fellow of the Institute of IT Service Management and an active member of both itSMF and The Corporate IT Forum, sitting on a number of management boards. In 2003, she was personally voted itSMF Service Manager of the Year and Exel won itSMF Innovation of the Year award for their IT Service Management Programme - Olympus of which she led.

John Harris

John Harris

VP Corporate Finance IT - GlaxoSmithKline- John leads a global IT organisation providing IT services to support Glaxo SmithKline’s finance functions including Treasury, Financial Reporting, Global Internal Audit, Sarbanes Oxley compliance, Shared Financial Services and WorldWide Real Estate. John has established strong business partnerships and successfully embedded a service culture based on the ITIL methodology.

He and his team have extensive experience in working with offshore IT and business partners driving cost savings and delivering a tangible improvement in service quality. John has also held senior IT roles in GSK’s international business and headed the Connectivity infrastructure service where he was responsible for global deployment of collaboration tools, transforming the way that GSK did business across 100,000 employees and numerous external business partners.

Malcolm Carrie

Malcolm Carrie

Head of Strategy & Architecture at BAE Systems plc a global defence and aerospace company. He has many years experience of IT in engineering companies - manufacturing, power generation, petro-chemical and defence. Malcolm lived in The Netherlands for ten years when his role included responsibility for IT operations across several European countries.

 

Jim Heard

Jim has over 10 years experience in Defence, Law Enforcement, Banking, Mining, Upstream Gas and the Midstream (Trading) Energy industry. 

His background includes extensive knowledge around strategy and planning as well as embedding and growing the information security function within multiple organisations. His experience also covers Risk Management, IS Governance, Operational Risk, Technology strategy, briefing Senior and Executive stakeholders on various Information Services aspects.

Denise Plumpton

Denise Plumpton

Director of information for the Highways Agency, with a £60m annual budget. She spent two years as CIO at the courier service company TNT, preceded by a three year spell as IT chief at Powergen. Denise is also a non-executive Director of the Heart of Birmingham Primary Care Trust and is a member of the Strategy Board of IT user group The Corporate IT Forum (Tif).
Denise has spent much of her career in the private sector and latterly joined the Highways Agency, part of the Department for Transport as Director of Information, providing real time traffic information to the public and the media in addition to internal ICT services.  She has a passion for change management and delights in delivering significant business benefits as a result.  She has worked extensively at Board level and recognises the importance of building business confidence and securing the commitment of staff to make change happen.
