Award Criteria


The judges will be looking for

  • The submission that has delivered the most significant improvements to public services and are most cost effective in the way they are delivered.

  • Number of employees
  • Annual IT spend
  • Project elapsed time, Man days effort, and Project Management days effort

Award Information

  1. Describe the vision and objectives for the project.
  2. Describe and provide evidence of the tangible benefits and value delivered (See rule 2).
  3. Describe the intangible (soft) benefits and value delivered.
  4. Describe the perception of the service before the project from both an internal and external viewpoint.
  5. Describe how and why this project was selected and initiated.
  6. What problems were encountered and how they were overcome.
  7. Describe the key contributions of individuals and teams involved in the programme.
  8. Who were the external stakeholders (including the public), and how were they involved.
  9. Describe any innovative practices, techniques or systems that contributed to the success of the programme.
  10. Describe the perception of the service after the project from both an internal and external viewpoint.
  11. Why should this project win this award?
