Everyone talks about partnership and achieving a ‘win: win’ situation, when working with other organisations to deliver it services or projects. Very few really achieve such an objective. Whether working in the private or public sector, with suppliers or in collaboration with others; the reality is working with partners is often the norm rather than the exception. What then are the ingredients for making partnerships a success both for those parties involved and for the project as a whole? Award Criteria
The judges will be looking for:
- The submission which demonstrates how a partnership approach has successfully delivered for all involved and the lessons learned which have built confidence in this approach and which will be applied in the future.
Project Detail RequiredBackground information - Business turnover or Public sector annual budget
- Number of employees
- Annual IT spend
- Project elapsed time, Man days effort, and Project Management days effort
Award Information - Describe the vision and objectives for the project.
- Describe and provide evidence of the tangible benefits and value delivered (See rule 2).
- Describe the intangible (soft) benefits and value delivered.
- Describe the business and IT perceptions of Partnership that existed before the project.
- Describe why this project was tackled as a partnership.
- Describe the process to identify and select a partner. What were your key criteria and why?
- Describe the problems encountered and how they were overcome. What governance and communication processes were put in place?
- What made this a great partnership result for both parties? (Include attributed quotes from both parties).
- Describe the business and IT perceptions of partnership that existed after the project.
- Why should this project win this award?
