Reason for the Awards

For any organisation raising the awareness of correct security policies and procedures associated with their work is a continuous and often uphill battle as both, staff, technology, and the threat landscape constantly change. Dealing successfully with this problem is a major challenge, as organisations look for new and better ways to solve a problem that like the poor ‘is always with us’.

  • User awareness programmes that are innovative, engaging, and show evidence of successful outcomes.

  1. Describe the circumstances that triggered the need for a programme and how approval and funding were secured. (200 words)
  2. Describe the key elements of the programme, how they were delivered and over what period of time. (750 words)
  3. Describe the results of the programme, how these were measured, and what evidence is there that they are sustainable?  How much of the programme can be re-used in subsequent user awareness efforts? (750 words)
  4. What benefits and value has the project delivered to your business and IT? (750 words)
  5. Describe the business and IT perceptions of user awareness programmes that existed before and after this project. (200 words)
  6. Why should this project win this award? (200 words)
